"The Form For The Celebration" Labor Day
The first big Labor Day in the United States was observed on September 5, 1882, by the Central Labor Union of New York. I would like to wish everyone a happy Labor Day and for us to remember and realize The United States was at one point one of the largest manufacturing countries in the world. We support American workers and the domestic production and manufacturing of our Wheelmen & Co. products here in the USA. With so many companies producing their goods overseas, it is important for us to recognize that what we make our products here "in the USA" which supports overall growth and sustainability in the United States. Below are images of American workers from the Syracuse Cycle Company via 1896. The Syracuse Cycle Company was founded in 1892 and by 1895, Syracuse was the "hub" of the bicycle world, at one time, manufacturing as many as 500 machines in a single day. This is a tribute to the American worker and the American innovation that helped change the way we live. Wheelmen & Co. Classic Tailoring : Modern Function, MADE IN THE USA.
